About Still Waters on South

A quiet space for honest work, lasting words, and restored meaning.

The Story

Still Waters on South began with a house — a 1924 Craftsman built on Wyoming soil and currently being restored piece by piece. What started as a renovation grew into something larger: a way of working, living, and creating rooted in patience, clarity, and faith.

Here, words are treated like the home itself — carefully stripped back, strengthened, and brought to life again. This place became more than an address; it became a practice.

The Work

At Still Waters Editing, language is both art and stewardship. I believe every story holds a truth worth tending, and that good editing doesn’t erase a writer’s voice — it amplifies it.

My work is quiet and deliberate: reading deeply, asking the right questions, and honoring the rhythm of your words until the heart of your story comes through clean and clear.

The Faith Behind the Work

The name Still Waters comes from Psalm 23 — a reminder that restoration begins in stillness.
Editing, for me, is one way of practicing that peace. It’s not about rushing a draft into the world; it’s about trusting that good work takes time and that truth deserves our best attention.

The Invitation

If you value honesty, depth, and craftsmanship — if you believe your words are meant to last — you’re in the right place.
Let’s build something enduring together.
